Noir

A few years ago, I had an opportunity to see a still life painting by a respected Japanese artist , the late Isoe Tsuyoshi who was also active in Spain , in an exhibition held in Hiroshima, Japan.

I felt the breeze and also the flow of time from his painting which draws Phalaenopsis orchid in the coal-black background, and I was so inspired that I have been drawing some pieces in the motif of flowers in the coal-black background for a few years in order to enhance my powers of expression.
